Mobile Workforce Architect - Billings Montana
Responsible for translating the client's mobile/wireless business requirements into specific system, application or process designs. This includes working with client personnel and executives to identify functional requirements and subsequently working with and leading others in the identification, justification and design of the client's mobility and wireless solution.
Responsible for a wide range of design activities from requirements analysis through systems, application and/or process design specification, development, and unit testing; and creating project documentation. Perform functional analysis and develop technical solutions and recommendations to client. Additional responsibilities include existing applications’ enhancement, trouble-shooting, and defect fixing in response to incoming change requests and problem reports.
Solve complex problems, which require in-depth evaluation of various factors, create application’s design specifications based on business and technical requirements, and develop / integrate complex software applications as part of a team as well as individually. A candidate must demonstrate reasoning abilities to actively participate in technical discussions with the team and client and have a good knowledge of best industry practices and the latest mobile enterprise workforce technologies.
Position requires significant knowledge across multiple mobility platforms, processes or architectures, as well as broad knowledge of new mobile technologies, device architectures and will include directing the design efforts of less experienced architects.
Required Technical Skills:
2+ years experience in handheld device development on at least one of the major platforms - iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile, Symbian
2+ years experience in application development using J2EE/J2SE
2+ years experience in working with mobile device management systems
2+ years experience in development and implementation of enterprise architecture/applications
